Bangladesh is rich in cultural resources and is one of the countries with the largest number of well-preserved cultural materials in the world. • Bangladesh National Museum - located in Shahbagh, Dhaka. This museum was built in1913 with four different departments, with a total of forty galleries. The museum has several collections of ancient stones and metal sculptures. Bangladesh National Museum's collection also shows the country of ancient coins, silver and other metal works of art. There are also exhibitions of textiles the country, including the famous muslin cloth. Here, you can also find an extensive collection of old paintings and handicrafts. Bangladesh National Museum is open every day except Thursday.
• Juddho Mukti (Liberation War) Museum - located in Segunbagicha in Dhaka city. This museum holds photographs of the few articles of the liberation war of Bangladesh that were used by the unsung heroes of the glorious war of the country. Visitors are always welcome to visit the museum to see the parts that have historical treasure. The museum is open every day except on Sundays.
• Ahsan Manjil Museum - located in Old Dhaka in the river Buriganga's. This museum was the home of the Nawabs who were the rulers of Dhaka. The residence was later a museum. This Victorian-style fortress is brightly colored in pink. This museum preserves the old portraits, furniture, utensils and a collection of articles household goods used by the Nawabs during their occupation here.
People • Art Museum - located at Snag, Dhaka. This museum was built in 1975 to meet the desire of the painter, Shilpacharya Zainul Adebin. This museum is home to the country's cultural heritage. Exhibiting works of traditional art and the unique design of Bangladesh.
• Science Museum - situated in Agargaon, Bangladesh. this museum is where the hip and the latest scientific findings are being learned. In fact, it a learning center-turned museum. The Science Museum is based on a unique modern architectural design.
